Finally, now I got it working. Also my other problem with the title of my other channel in Icecast not loading has gone as well.
What I have done is I have manually installed the latest version of the theme and the kentharadio plugin uploading them via ftp.
Now all working as it should.
Thanks a lot you for your support.
JCin reply to: titles in ssl (part 2)
Actually after upgrading the Kentha Player and other plugins outdated I have seen the “force https” setting.
Now I enable it and use as the host the url without protocol, just: ssl1.viastreaming.net.
You can see the setting here: https://imgur.com/a/oXDAq1T
However, I still get the same error in the console, it still is trying to load the title address with http, weird:
I have deleted my browser’s cache and tried in another computer with same results, unfortunately. Now it should load the resource via https, what am I missing?
Many thanks for your valuable support,
I fully understand your reply. Thank you very much.
I can not see the force https parameter to enable it. I think it would solve my situation 100%. Where is that setting?
Maybe I am not seeing it due to the version of the player plugin? Where should I find “force https”?
Kentha Radio V. 1.5
Kentha Player V. 1.9.8
Many thanks for your priceless help,
1) The force SSL is enabled via a wordpress plugin in the wordpress install of my subdomain dev.ibizasonica.com. Do you mean a template-specific force SSL setting? I have not found one
2) And the proxy for the radio channels is enabled to serve the audio vis ssl. I have detected Mixed Content errors in the console. I get the following error: Mixed Content: The page at ‘https://dev.ibizasonica.com/’ was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure script ‘http://https//ssl1.viastreaming.net:7005/stats?sid=1&json=1&callback=jQuery11240298641287611908_1603215163607&_=1603215163608’. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.
It seems to me as if the template prepends the “http://” to the title url transforming any url into http.
3) You may try any of the channels available. The channel of the screenshots happens to be SONICALM but any will do for the test.
You may also see on http://ibizaosnica.com. My production environment. How the same channels are loading correctly the title.
Here a screenshot of my channel config in the production environment (non-https)
And here the same config in my dev environment (https enabled)
My conclusion from the screenshots and the console log is that the template is prepending the http before the url of the title for each channel. I believe that because I edit the channel’s shoutcast feed host field with this: “https://ssl1.viastreaming.net” and also tried this “ssl1.viastreaming.net” and get this in the console log: “http://https//ssl1.viastreaming.net:8915/stats?sid=1&json=1&callback=jQuery11240298641287611908_1603215163607&_=1603215163608” so some script must be transforming my original url into something the template can work with. Is there a “force SSL” setting in the template specific for this or a way to change that script so the url doesn’t start with http eventually for the browser?

Many thanks for your reply.
I am aware of the “mixed content” issue in Chrome.
I am trying to move my whole site to https by loading EVERYTHING with https. Including, and specially, the streaming urls and title urls for my channels.
The first part is achieved, my streams load alright, I can listen to them, and Chrome shows the green padlock, all good here.
However, my problem is that the second part, the titles are not showing in https. Although I am actually using https links, as you can see in the picture I sent.
So, my question is, in your experience, what may I be doing wrong? I am apparently using the correct urls, and those urls are working alright, why is the kentha player not showing my title for my channels?
Many thanks in advance for your always valuable support,

Thank you for your detailed answer, I am waiting for a user that has been in touch with me lately about this issue to get some feedback regarding your questions.
About the latest question. I think the quality of my provider is medium. It’s not a cheap provider, but I am not using the most cutting edge technology they have either. I would say the quality is medium.
I’ll update you if I get any more revealing information.
If you could apply some fix in the code that prevents form radios to skip and instead reloads the stream, that would be an ace feature in my opinion for a future re.

Thank you for your replay.
Even after trying the same thing in chrome and firefox I still never see the title.
Sometimes I have seen the title not changing from the previous channel to the next one. I mean: this channel is number two in my list of channels. I first listen to my first channel and can see its title. When I click the “next” button in the player I start listening the second channel and I still see the title from the first channel.
Also, I have seen this morning making trials, in the page of the channel, I press the play button and it loads the stream and the title of the first channel in the list.
This is easy to spot by expanding the full list of channels, clicking play on the first channel and checking if the title does not change.
Can you confirm this is not what you are seeing please? It may be the case that when you see the title it is not the title of this channel, but the title of the first channel in the list of cahnnels.

Thank you very much, this is weird, I’m trying the same settings I would say:
However, in my case the title never gets rendered to the player. What could be the difference between your test and mine?

Dear support team,
Tahnk you for your prompt reply.
If I remove the mountpoint from my channel’s details my stream will not load.
And I still can not see the title in the player.
I have openend the console and seen some errors related to coockies from google, but not from the address of my server.
From your explanation, I understand that it may be the IceCast server that’s actually blocking the connection so the player can not read the title? Is that it?
Can you help me here to solve the title issue?
Many thanks for your valueble help.
