Option 1. Creare a slideshow using Slider Revolution
- Please refere to the “Slider Revolution” manual provided with the theme product package
- Visit the Qantum Panel, Home tab
- Add the REVOLUTION SLIDER ALIAS of the slider just created
Option 1. Add a new QtSlideshow (responsive, featuring youtube and vimeo videos, auto preview image)
- Create a new QT Slideshow as explained in the related chapter of this manual
- Visit the Qantum Panel, Home tab
- Enable the slideshow module
- Go in the Slideshow tab, choose QT slideshow, and input the ID of the slideshow you just created
Option 2. Add the classic slideshow
You can add a slider to the home page. You can choose between Nivo Slider (not responsive so hidden to mobile and tablet) or Bootstrap Slider (responsive and visible also to movile devices).
How to create a slider and add it to homepage:
- In the wordpress wp-admin click Sliders -> Add New
- Compile the title and content (only visible in the admin not to the visitors)
- Under “Slider link” compile the field with the url where you want it to point. Or just add #.
- Insert the image by clicking “Upload 900*300 for sliders”, choose a file and click “Insert into post”. Pay attention to choose the “Full size image”. Watch the video if you have any trouble creating sliders.
- To enable sliders go in the QantumThemes Admin Panel (Under the Visualization menu.
- Click the Home Page tab and enable the slider (enable Homepage Slider -> enabled)
- Select the “Slider” tab of the qantum Pro admin panel and choose the slider that you want
- Eventually, personalize the nivo slider with the provided options.
- Hit “Save Options” and watch your homepage to see the result.
